Rick Parisi
Rick’s passion for music started at an early age. His uncle played in a wedding band, and Rick would beg to watch whenever they performed publicly. “Watching people’s reaction to music really intrigued me as a child,” he recalls. Even though he quickly learned he couldn’t sing or play an instrument, he discovered a deep love for music and the joy it brings to others.
At 17, fate stepped in when he was working at a bowling alley and was approached by the owner of a DJ company. A simple question—“Have you ever thought about being a DJ?”—ignited what would become a lifelong passion and career.
Since then, Rick has DJed across the country, performing at over 1,500 weddings and countless private events. Along the way, he’s earned recognition as Best DJ in Rochester and became the official Headlining DJ for Mobile Beat Las Vegas, a global collective of the world’s top private event and wedding DJs.
In 2018, Rick founded Marquee Events after realizing the wedding market was missing something crucial—creativity and truly curated experiences. “Every DJ out there was playing the same thing at every wedding over and over again,” he explains. Determined to break that cycle, Rick set out to build a company that didn’t just play music but designed moments, tailored to each couple’s unique vision.
What started as one DJ quickly became one of the most sought-after teams in the industry. Under Rick’s leadership, Marquee Events has become known for its talent, innovation, and ability to deliver unforgettable celebrations that feel anything but cookie-cutter. For Rick, it’s about more than music—it’s about creating nights where couples and their guests smile, dance, and make memories that last a lifetime.

Joe Gerard
Affectionately known by many of our industry friends as “The Prodigy,” Joe is truly the gold-standard in DJ entertainment. DJing since the age of 14, his abundance of experience ensures that every event he does ends with hugs and high-fives, not handshakes.
Joe is also our EDM and Top 40 expert. He holds multiple residencies throughout Columbus, OH and performs at large-scale events like Breakaway Music Festival, sharing lineups with artists like Zedd, Porter Robinson, Knock2, Chris Lake and Flume. When he’s not making people move, you can find him attending more shows and festivals than the rest of the Marquee Team combined.

Shaun Lewis
With an event as important as your wedding, setting the mood is our number one priority; and when it comes to mood vs music, we see no difference. This is why everyone loves Shaun.
DJing professionally since 1993, he’s seen huge changes in the DJ scene and has welcomed them with open arms. His favorite genres include old school hip hop and R&B, as well as an intense appreciation for current hits, lounge, and club music. On top of this, his mixed range of Old + New music is a skill most DJs are still striving to develop.
As one of our most well-versed DJs, Shaun has an impressive knowledge of music we have yet to see beat. The mixes he produces are so universally loved that they’re used by countless other DJs, including our competitors….seriously. While many try to imitate his style, he’s impossible to replicate. And as a DJ one step ahead of the crowd, he knows exactly what your guests want to hear before they even have a chance to think about it.

ANTHONY ROSSOTTI
His dedication to his craft speaks for itself. Breaking into the industry over a decade ago, he quickly had to learn how to balance top 40 hits with the multigenerational classics guests love. His passion drove him to push boundaries in event presentation as well, often referred to as a genius for his superior experience in creating intricate event setups, especially with lighting. Hell, he’s even built some of our DJ equipment.

Miguel Angel
Has been a DJ and Event Host in Rochester’s Club Scene since 1999. Crediting his skilled musicality, he finds both setting the tone of your event and packing dance floors to be second nature.
Miguel’s dedication to professionalism, from the time you meet him until your last song of the night, is unmatched. Miguel understands the incredible complexity of the events our team performs at, and because of this insists on working intimately with your vendors and venue staff leading up to and on your special day to ensure everything goes exactly as planned.

Jack has been shaping memorable dance floors for couples since 2017. His specialty: creating the perfect music atmosphere for any event, from weddings, to social and business gatherings and nightclub performances.
Jack’s music knowledge covers a wide range of genres, ensuring YOUR music on YOUR night reflects, well…YOU! Jack stands by the mantra “no two crowds are the same”, and has a knack for adapting to the vibe of each event. Nick Morales
Nick’s DJ journey started in 2017 with a gift from his brother, a first DJ board that sparked a passion he couldn’t ignore. By 2021, after his first music festival, he dove in headfirst: upgrading his gear, studying music theory, and immersing himself in electronic music and live sets.
For Nick, DJing isn’t just about playing songs, it’s about creating moments. He loves crafting sets that let people lose themselves on the dance floor, bringing back nostalgia with forgotten favorites while introducing fresh tracks that get everyone moving.
With roots in soul, Motown, and disco, and a love for hip hop, pop, and R&B, Nick’s heart beats strongest with electronic sounds—especially house, trance, and UK garage. His goal is simple: to give couples and their guests nights filled with smiles, dancing, and memories that last long after the music fades.
Born in Cortland, raised in Seneca Falls, and shaped by studies at RIT and Nazareth University, Nick brings both passion and professionalism to every celebration.

Giancarlo Mallia
Giancarlo’s DJ journey began in 2018, following in his father’s footsteps and carrying forward a family passion for music. From the start, he was drawn to the art of reading a crowd and creating unforgettable moments on the dance floor.
While he’s skilled in open format and can seamlessly move between genres, Giancarlo’s true specialties are EDM, 2000s–2010s dance, pop, and hip hop. His sets bring the perfect balance of nostalgia and high energy, keeping guests engaged from the first song to the very last.
Though his youthful look might catch some by surprise, his experience speaks for itself. Giancarlo consistently brings the energy and excitement couples dream of for their big day. His passion is simple: to craft a celebration where every Marquee couple and their guests dance, smile, and create lasting memories.

Mike Dow
Mike Dow is an open-format DJ delivering unrivaled quality to wedding celebrations, private parties, and corporate events. Boasting over a decade of DJ and MC experience, his style emphasizes a blend of all genres with a focus on mixing hip-hop and dance.
A charismatic master of ceremonies, Mike’s passion for bringing people together to elevate the human experience through music and dance has ensured the atmosphere he shapes creates memories that last a lifetime.
In addition to the concierge DJ service Mike is known for, he also has extensive experience with concert venues, nightclubs, and music festivals across the Midwest. Regional festival appearances include Breakaway Music Festival, Ubahn Fest, Bunbury Festival, ComFest, Cloud City, and Newark Station Arts & Music Festival. Mike Dow has also performed alongside countless touring acts including Louis The Child, Valentino Khan, UZ, DJ Pauly D, Crizzly, Antiserum, Freddie Gibbs, Currensy, IDK, Souls of Mischief, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Afroman, and many more! He also holds residencies at multiple Columbus venues – you’ve likely danced to his sets already.
